The Last of Us Grounded Bundle DLC with Brutal AI

We have some good news for The Last of Us players now, especially those with a Season Pass. Developers Naughty Dog have just confirmed the third and final DLC pack for the game, which we now know will be known as The Last of us: Grounded Bundle DLC.

Naughty Dog has given users a preview of what to expect, telling fans that it will be a combination of both single player and multiplayer content. For example, Grounded Bundle will include a new difficulty mode called Grounded Mode.

The developers have said that players will have a big challenge to complete single-player on this mode, even going as far to say that it will include AI that is “relentless, smart and brutal”, whilst calling survival “near impossible.”

On top of that, Naughty Dog has said that obtaining the new Grounded Mode trophy will be “one of the most difficult trophies you will ever earn”.

Elsewhere, the Grounded Bundle will also give players access to the Reclaimed Territories Map Pack. This pack comes with four new maps, already revealed as Wharf, Capitol, Coal Mine and Water Tower.

If that wasn’t enough there will also be the Survivalist Weapon Bundle offering four new weapons, as well as the Full Auto Rifle weapon which everyone can use – even non Season Pass players.

Full details on the Grounded Bundle can be seen here. At the moment, The Last of Us Grounded Bundle release date is unknown but Naughty Dog has confirmed that it is coming in a matter of weeks.

Give us your thoughts on this final pack and the claims that the game will now include ‘brutal and relentless AI’. Are you ready for that challenge?
