We have some rather interesting news now for all you PlayStation 3 owners out there that may be familiar with The House of the Dead: Overkill game, which was originally released as a Nintendo Wii exclusive, as we’ve just heard that the Wii game is now heading to the PS3.
According to Nathan Tsui at totalplaystation.com, Sega announced on Friday that the upcoming PlayStation 3 version of The House of the Dead: Overkill would not only come with high-definition graphics, but it would also feature PlayStation Move compatibility and 3D support.
The PlayStation 3 game — which has been titled The House of the Dead: Overkill — The Extended Cut — will provide PS3 gamers with the original content from the Nintendo Wii version, as well as extra bonus content. This is said to include re-mastered versions of the original 7 stages.
That isn’t all either, as the ‘Extended Cut’ also adds 2 brand new scenarios to the gruesome shooter. As noted over on blog.sega.com, players will also have access to new game modes and PlayStation trophies. The game itself is due to arrive on October 25th in the US and October 28th in Europe.
Would you play The House of the Dead: Overkill on your PlayStation 3?
