If you’ve been waiting to hear about a launch date for the upcoming hack-and-slash game The First Templar, then I think we’ve got just the news for you. The game’s developer Haemimont Games has just revealed an official release date for the much-awaited PC and Xbox 360 title.
According to a recent article by Joe Martin over on the bit-tech.net website, gamers can expect the game to arrive in stores on May 6th. The First Templar — which was first announced back in June 2010 — is a third-person medieval game that has players controlling a number of characters.
The First Templar title features light RPG elements, and a co-operative mode that will enable players to team up with a mate. The guys at bit-tech.net had a sneak peek of the game at the GamesCom event last year, and said that gamers can expect plenty of rolling, hacking and slashing.
However, they did also say that if what they saw was indicative of the finished game, then players should also expect some lackluster graphics. Besides the news about a release date, it also appears that a brand new trailer has hit the internet as well. You can view the video below this post.
