The Evil Within is closing in on its highly anticipated release next week and now we have some important information for those looking to pick up the PC version. Bethesda has just released the Evil Within minimum PC specs for you to browse upon and hopefully most of you will have enough horsepower to run the game smoothly upon release.
October 14 is when the game will go live, but before PC users put their orders in they obviously need to know if they can run the game without issues. Now we can bring you the bare minimum that you will need and they are as follows:
First up, you’ll need to be running either Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, obviously. Then for GPU you will need at least a GTX 460 or a similar 1GB VRAM card. For processor you should be running a Intel Core i7 or a similar quad-core processor at the very least.
RAM should be at the 4GB mark and you will need at least 50GB to run the game in terms of storage. Remember that these are only the minimum specs, not the recommended specs by Bethesda – for those you will need a much better system.
For those that only choose to play games on a PC instead of console, you probably can surpass these minimum specs without a problem. 4GB of VRAM is the recommended spec though, which a lot of you are saying could be an issue to run at a stable framerate.
Are you getting the Evil Within on PC? Let us know what specs you plan to run the game on.
