For those that are wondering why The Division servers are down right now on April 21, Ubisoft has just kicked off their weekly maintenance. This time though, they have given players a heads-up on what will be changing in the game following the maintenance.
In a week where we have seen Ubisoft confirm Phoenix Credit compensation due to various issues with the Incursion rollout and other areas of the game, it’s fair to say that Ubisoft knows that the experience still isn’t perfect for everyone right now.
As a result, these are the planned fixes with The Division April 21 changelog that Ubisoft has offered:
There’s going to be two specific changes to Falcon Lost with the APC now only taking damage from the C4, while characters will now be killed when going inside the spawn closet.
Elsewhere, there’s a specific PC fix relating to ASCII code to stop client crashes, so read the notes above and let us know what you think.
The Division servers will be back up in two hours as of 12am Pacific Time on Thursday April 21, so you should be able to start playing again soon.
Once you can get back in, let us know your experience below and if you think Ubisoft has missed something which needs an urgent fix.
