The Tesla Superchargers started to roll out across Europe earlier this month and were mainly focused in Norway at first, but in the last couple of weeks we have seen Tesla Superchargers reach more Europe locations as seen on a map detailing select countries and each location.
You can take a look at the Tesla Superchargers located in Europe on this map here, which at the time of writing features Tesla Superchargers in Germany, Norway and one between France and the UK.
At first it looks like a Tesla Supercharger is in the UK, but after zooming in on Google Maps you can see that it is apparently located currently inside the channel tunnel strangely enough.
Other than Norway, the only other Tesla Supercharger in Europe is located at “Frankfurt Airport” (A3/A5). More will be rolling out across Europe in the coming weeks and months.
You can also see the official Tesla Supercharger page that features a map of the USA with locations for Tesla Superchargers in Texas, California, Florida and a few other areas.
The same page also explains how Tesla Superchargers work along with highlighting the fact that Select stations use solar panel canopies for both shade and offsetting energy. Within the last few hours we note a tweet on the official Tesla Motors Twitter channel showcasing this fact, as seen in the tweet above, and explaining this is “part of our commitment to the environment”.
We have embedded the Supercharger Announcement video below this article just in case you missed it, which also quickly explains some of the benefits of these stations and the scheduled Tesla Supercharger rollout for the USA.
