Tesla Model 3 production delay prevention

Tesla Model 3 pre-orders have gone through the roof, and now stands at more than 325,000 reservations in a week, which is great news for the company. However, there are concerns that Tesla Motors will not be able to keep up with the huge demand of production considering they only managed to produce 50,658 vehicles lasts year – so how will things change in 2017, which is when the Model 3 is meant to start shipping?

As it currently stands, Tesla Motors does not have the production capabilities to come close to the kind of numbers they need to push out each month, although there are now plans to change that.

We still do not have a clue as to how Tesla will ramp up production so that they can fulfil all pre-orders, although we have to remember that many of them will not be delivered until 2018, such is the demand.

Tesla Model 3 production

Not knowing how they will increase production leaves us to wander how waiting times for any Tesla model will improve. However, Elon Musk needs to offer some details, as not knowing means this could mean fluctuating stock prices.

It will be a nice story to read in late 2017 or early 2018 that Tesla has managed to keep up with the demand of production, and that they can actually begin to make a profit, but only time will tell.
