Tekken 7 trailer made in hotel room

As we told you earlier today, Tekken 7 is real and has just been announced officially by Namco Bandai. However, the announcement was forced since the news was leaked hours ago. As a result, a Tekken 7 trailer is live but it wasn’t planned and was quickly knocked up in Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada’s hotel room before EVO 2014.

It’s a true story as well. We can now bring you that trailer to see for yourself, which is just under 2 minutes in length. It doesn’t show any actual Tekken 7 gameplay yet sadly, but it does give a big hint on the potential Tekken 7 storyline involving Heihachi, Kazuya and Kazumi.

We see a temple setting in the trailer, followed by the door opening and the silhouette of a mystery character is shown at the forefront. There’s no major spoilers in the trailer, although we have been promised to see more of the game at the San Diego Comic Con event.

For a trailer that has been knocked up in a hotel room in a seemingly state of panic, you have to say that it is not bad at all. There’s enough in the trailer to ask plenty of questions about the never-ending Heihachi rollercoaster and that trailer alone will give Namco Bandai the time they need to conjure up a proper trailer in the coming weeks – hopefully with some first gameplay on PS4 and Xbox One.

Watch it below and give us your reaction to the Tekken 7 trailer that was done in a hotel room. Are you impressed with it, or could you have done a better job? Let us know your thoughts and ideas on the potential Tekken 7 storyline if you have already figured it out.
