It is going to be a very exciting few weeks for Tekken 7 fans now, as we have just had the confirmation of a brand new Tekken 7 character called Shaheen.
This is actually the same character which was teased in concept art a few months ago by game director Katsuhiro Harada. Now we can officially confirm that the character is going to be called Shaheen and he is going to have origins from Saudi Arabia.
That makes Shaheen the first Arab to join the game and so far we can see that there has been a lot of positive feedback over the character design.
As you can see from the official character art above that Harada has shared, Shaheen will wear a traditional keffiyeh and will also have what looks to be a scimitar attached to his waist.
We actually love the design and it’s a lot different compared to the initial concept art that we saw which basically resembled a character out of Assassin’s Creed.
With Tekken 7 due out in Japanese arcades soon, it is not going to be long at all until we see the first Tekken 7 Shaheen gameplay footage – we can’t wait.
