TDI Customer Goodwill Package terms announced today

Volkswagen has been testing the waters by introducing its TDI Goodwill Program, although they have yet to set out the terms and conditions. It does seem as though some people have already signed up for the program, which could mean they waive their rights for any further clams.

We would just like to say this is based on the assumption of the article on The Truth About Cars, but we are pleased to inform you that the TDI Goodwill Program terms will be announced today. Whether this is for the US only is a question that will also be answered today.

TDI customer compensation

Those affected customers of this diesel scandal that have signed up already have found that they will get $500 prepaid cards, along with another card that can only be used at Volkswagen, the sum of which is said to be between $500 to $750.

While up to $1,250 does not seem like a lot in the grand scale of things, you have to remember that VW has a few other incentives going on as well, and so add up to a decent amount — although this does come down to if those of you affected think so or not.

Will you be signing up for this TDI Customer Goodwill Package, and if so are you happy with the sum of money being offered?
