We already told you that the Tata GenX Nano would get its official launch today, along with its price. However, what we never knew was that Tata Motors would be launching 5 new trim levels, and these variants will offer something for drivers needs in Indian.
There must have been a media embargo on this new car, as we have now started to see the first Tata GenX Nano reviews, which we will get to in a moment.
Tata GenX Nano price for each variant is — the XE MT will cost INR 1.99 lakhs, the XM MT INR 2.29 lakhs, XT MT INR 2.49 lakhs, XMA AMT INR 2.69 lakhs and the XTA AMT is to cost INR 2.89 lakhs, all prices are ex-Showroom, Delhi.
As for the 2015 Tata GenX Nano Easy Shift review, this is for the AMT or five-speed automatic transmission, as it is better known. This model is the most expensive from the new Nano range, but it also comes packed with the most features — something this model has been crying out for.
In the review from IndianAutosBlog they have put the car through its paces and taken a very close look at the exterior design, the interior features, the structural changes, engine and gearbox, as well as the ride and handling, brakes and safety, fuel efficiency and how it compares in terms of price to its nearest rivals.
However, it is the final verdict that leaves us wondering if Tata Motors has done enough, because while this new model is more spacious and comes with improved features, it does seem to lack any get up and go, and the brakes are not as good as they could have been. Having said that; if you are looking for a first-time car, you could do a lot worse.
