T-Mobile – Orange UK merger: Seemingly Approved by EU Commission

If you have been worried about the potential merger between the UK carriers Orange and T-Mobile it seems as if there isn’t much to worry about, as the EU Commission believe that the merger would have no negative effect regardless of which carrier you are currently on.

Now that the EU Commission have approved the possible merger the two companies can start to integrate both companies, it is thought that the joint venture will be worth more than €4 billion.

For at least 18 months both carriers will operate ‘seemingly individually’, however both T-Mobile and Orange feel joining forces and creating a larger network will be a big benefit for customers from both Orange and T-Mobile in the future.

Are you happy that the companies are joining forces?
