T-Mobile MyTouch Slide: First pictures, runs Android 2.1

For those interested in picking up the next version of T-Mobile’s ‘MyTouch’ range of handsets, we have the first pictures of the MyTouch Slide handset, as well as confirmation that the handset will run on Google’s Android 2.1 Operating System.

As reported from BGR, the pictures have come to us courtesy of TmoNews, who have managed to get a high quality close up of the MyTouch Slide, as well as a screenshot showing the firmware version of the device.

I have to say, that the handset isnt the prettiest phone in the world. The slide out keyboard looks horrible and outdated, while the color schemes and buttons located on the bottom of the handset are questionable.

You’ll also notice a specific ‘Genius’ button in the bottom right. Check out the picture below. You’ll find some specs and release details over at BGR.
