Following on from our initial details on the upcoming T-Mobile G2, Engadget has obtained the first picture of the device in the wild, revealing that the handset may be a US version of the already-known HTC Vision.
If you head over to their report, you’ll be able to see a close up image of the T-Mobile G2 in full glory. There are actually two images of the G2 for you to enjoy, the first gives you a look at the slide-out QWERTY keyboard, while the second shows what the G2 looks like in it’s traditional position.
Since we already know a bit about the HTC Vision, it is safe to presume that the T-Mobile G2 will come equipped with a 3.7-inch WVGA screen and a 1Ghz processor for starters.
Will it come with Android 2.1 or 2.2 Froyo? – Hopefully it is the latter. Since the G2 is apparently due for release in a few weeks, you should expect a lot more details and further images to leak out along the way.
What are your thoughts on the T-Mobile G2 being the HTC Vision in disguise?
