We have some very interesting news for those of you planning to pick up the upcoming T-Mobile G2 handset, as although we are still waiting for the handset to be launched, a build of Android 2.2 Froyo is already available to download.
As reported from Phandroid, a new document with details on the T-Mobile G2 has been obtained by AndroidGuys, and lists details about the version of Android which will be shipping with the phone.
The listings confirms the model name (HTC PC1010000) that we saw on the FCC website yesterday, while there is also information on both the kernal and bootloader version.
Best of all, the firmware build is available to download over at AndroidGuys. If you are a developer and want to get an early look at Froyo on the G2, then this is your chance!
