Super Pokemon Scramble: New Nintendo 3DS game confirmed

If you own a Nintendo 3DS handheld and you are a fan of the hugely popular Pokémon franchise, then we have some news that will definitely be of interest to you. We’ve recently received word that Nintendo is currently working on a brand new game for the 3DS called Super Pokémon Scramble.

According to Riley Little over on the website, the Super Pokémon Scramble game is in fact a follow up to the WiiWare game Pokémon Rumble. Gamers will have a number of different areas to play through, with each area featuring all sorts of different monsters for them to collect.

There will also be a boss battle at the end of each area, which varies in difficulty depending on how far the player has progressed through the campaign. The Super Pokémon Scramble game will feature three different modes: Charge Battle, Pokémon Collection Battle Challenge and Battle Royale.

The Pokémon Collection Battle Challenge sees players having to battle through all of the Pokémon they’ve collected. By doing this they will unlock new areas that feature stronger Pokémon they can collect. Meanwhile, the Charge Battle mode will have players up against several teams of ten Pokémon.

Battle Royale is a mode in which every Pokémon on the screen is your enemy. This mode is an all-out battle, with the last monster standing being declared the winner. Super Pokémon Scramble is due to arrive in Japanese stores on July 28th. We’ll keep you informed if we hear of a North American release.

Are you looking forward to the release of the Super Pokémon Scramble game?
