Super Mario Galaxy 2: Europeans have to wait for Wii sequel

While it is great news that Europeans now have a solid release date for the upcoming to sequel to Super Mario Galaxy, we cant help but feel you’ll be slightly disappointed to know that you’ll be getting the game a few weeks after everyone in the US.

As reported from Eurogamer, the game lands in the EU on June 11th, which is a Friday. Those of you in the US however, will be able to pick up the game on May 23rd, nearly three weeks earlier than the EU.

How do you feel about this? It seems like ‘huge’ titles such as Metal Gear Solid 4, GTA IV and Final Fantasy XIII get a universal release date, so does poor Mario not fall into this category?

Still, this may not bother you at all. We just thought we’d bring it to your attention. Let us know your thoughts on this below.
