Since first hearing that Sony Pictures was looking into a Steve Jobs movie, discussion boards around the world have been talking about who should get the lead role, today we will summarize some of the most popular choices and ask you who you think should get the part.
When casting for the movie we think that the casting director has a very hard job, we need someone who can talk about technology in a convincing way and it would be a bonus if the actor looked a little like Jobs, this is why we think Alan Dale should be considered for the role, what do you think?
If you check out the CupidTino blog you will see that they have chosen five options which should be considered, these are Edward Norton, Hugh Laurie, Tom Hanks, Noah Wyle and Daniel Day Lewis. We think that both Hanks and Day Lewis are safe bets, but let’s not forget that Noah Wyle played Steve Jobs in 1999’s Pirates of Silicon Valley. Other actors which could suit the role are Ralph Fiennes and Jason Bateman.
If you check out this Gizmodo post you will see that lots of readers have left their suggestions, obviously some jokers have made silly suggestions such as Whoopi Goldberg, Chuck Norris and Arnold Schwarzenegger – but Ashton Kutcher, Christian Bale and Jason Schwartzman are names which we have seen mentioned quite a few times.
As and when we hear more about the movie’s cast we will keep you posted, for now feel free to share your suggestions for the lead role in the comments section below.
