State of Decay Xbox 360 update with vast changes

We have some news for State of Decay players now, as Undead Labs has now gone live with their title update 2 for the game, adding a vast amount of bug fixes to the game, which should make gameplay experience a lot more smoother than before. Having said that, we also hear feedback coming in from many of you who say that many of the changes should have been implemented in the game from day one.

State of Decay has already become the fastest selling Xbox Live game of the year and could go on to even greater heights when Undead Labs finally releases a PC version with mod support. For now though, focus remains entirely on improving the Xbox 360 version and if you have been having issues with the game, this latest patch update could help you.

As detailed on the official forums, there are a lot of changes in title update 2. Far too many for us to list one by one, but definitely a good read if you have some time to spare. If you experienced the rather painful bug which resulted in your character getting stuck in a passenger seat if hit by a zombie when you enter the vehicle, you’ll be pleased to hear that this has now been corrected.

There’s also now a correct display for the Hockey Stick weapon type, while Missing Survivor mission opportunity timeouts have been increased from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. The sheer amount of bug fixes have led some to question whether the game should have launched when it did, while it can only mean good things for PC owners who will now seemingly get a version of the game that plays without hassle.

If you haven’t played State of Decay for a few days, it’s a very good idea to read through the entire list of changes here and see if any specific problems that you have been having, have been fixed up. Let us know if you play the game on a daily basis and are still having some issues with the game.

Is State of Decay the best Xbox 360 game you have played in recent months, hands down?
