It has been a week since we last told you about the new Starbucks app that is available for iPhone. A big update has made a lot of iOS users happy, but at the same time the frustration goes on for those that are still waiting for any sign of news regarding a Starbucks Android app update.
Unfortunately it looks like that wait is going to extend well into April. Starbucks are yet to offer an official update on the matter, only willing to say that it is still coming soon.
Of course, it’s a situation where Android users have found themselves in many times – another high profile app launch or update which has been given priority on Apple’s iOS rather than Google’s Android platform.
Just like GTA V’s iFruit, QuizUp and so many more Android apps, users can do nothing about it except wait until Starbucks feels the need to give Android owners the update.
You can bet that the demand is still as high as ever though, as it does seem rather harsh that fellow Starbuck drinkers are being segregated like this just due to the phone they use:

Hopefully next month we will be able to give the good news, but for now the wait goes on. If you have been a happy Starbucks app user on Android, let us know if you are also a bit frustrated that iOS has yet again been given the preferential treatment.
