Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Android compatibility issues

Android users will finally be able to see what all the fuss is about with Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, as the game is finally ready to download from the Google Play Store. That is not the only bit of good news though, as the app is currently half price, so you will pay just $5 for a limited time.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic compatibility issues on certain Android devices — We are hearing that several Android users are having problems trying to get the Knights of the Old Republic to work on certain tablet models.

Star Wars- Knights of the Old Republic Android

Handsets such as the Galaxy Note 4 or the S3 work just fine, but a game like this is far better on a tablet, and this is where some people are running into issues.

One of our readers said there does not seem to be any support for the Sony Xperia Z2, while another noticed his LG G-Pad 8.3 could not run the game either. This is a shame because playing Knights of the Old Republic on an Android smartphone can become a little cramped, and so demands the extra real-estate of a tablet.

Another issue of concern is the controls because these are rather bad. Currently, you control movement with just one control rather than the traditional two on a console. This does take some getting used to and spoils the experience of the game.

Have you downloaded the app yet, if so what is your first impression?
