Star Wars Battlefront PS4 graphics realism after trailer

There is still a lot of talk about the amazing trailer that EA and DICE unleashed at the Star Wars Celebration, giving gamers worldwide a glimpse of Star Wars Battlefront.

Truth be told, the trailer just looked like a movie – it was that impressive. Naturally, gamers are eager to find out just how close to the trailer the actual graphics will be when playing in real-time.

Now, a DICE developer has stepped forward to say that what you saw in the trailer is how the game looks right now on PS4.

Producer Jesper Nielsen was answering questions about the game on Reddit, when he replied to a fan by saying:

“The game hasn’t shipped yet. We’re not done with it. But this is how it looks right now – on PS4 as well, yes.”

It still doesn’t pose the question however on what the actual level of graphics will be like for general gameplay. Almost nobody is expecting gameplay to play out from what we see in the trailer, but DICE insists that they are not out to ‘trick’ anyone.

Until we see the first Star Wars Battlefront gameplay though, the questions will keep on coming. DICE says that this is what the game will look like on PS4, so give us your thoughts on this below.

Are you expecting the gameplay to be amazing or do you think it’s important not to get too hyped up on the graphics when we all know things can change when it comes to actual gameplay, compared to teaser trailers which are designed to impress?
