Stanley Cup 2010: Schedule and Standings via Apps

Fans of the Stanley Cup, who cannot always watch a game as it happens, can now catch up with what has been happening via a number of apps which have been developed for mobile devices.

Website is running a story reviewing some of the available apps. Hockey Night in Canada is a well made app available on the App Store. Users can check schedules and scores from recent games. News and current stats are also accessible from the free app. Video can be downloaded for a fee.

Hockey Buzz is an app that is more news related instead of a stat based one. When a user clicks on a story it is opened within the app instead of a browser. Twitter accounts that are 90 percent hockey are focused on within the app.
