Sprint Store is down, not working during maintenance

Those of you doing some late night phone shopping at the Sprint Store will find it’s down today and not working during what seems like planned maintenance. You can see the status message below, although this isn’t making some people happy that wanted to pre-order the iPhone 6 or Plus version on Sprint’s Network before heading to sleep.

While the Sprint Store is down, they state “We’ll be back soon”. This is the standard maintenance message, although it’s confusing seeing another message telling shoppers that there seems to be “quite a few of you trying to get into our online store”. This would then make it seem like the store going down is related to high traffic and not planned maintenance.

How long has the Sprint Store been down for you today? Also, has the Sprint Network been problem-free during this time as well? You can still look at Sprint phone and data plans right now, so this at least gives you something to do while waiting for the store to return.

You can see the latest Sprint plans below that were correct at the time of writing, but you might want to head to to see the latest deals once the maintenance ends.

We’ve reached out to Sprint to see if the problems today were planned, or if this outage is due to something else. Were you trying to pre-order the iPhone 6 on Sprint today, or is your online store visit related to something else? Leave a comment below.
