Sprint Galaxy Tab 3 Android 4.4 Kitkat update soon

We have some great news for Sprint Galaxy Tab 3 owners now, as it looks like the Galaxy Tab 3 Android 4.4 Kitkat release date is finally coming soon. The US network has just sent out word that the update is on the way and it is a great conclusion for a tablet that shouldn’t still be forgotten about.

It was only just a few days ago that we told you about Best Buy offering a $20 discount on the retail price of the Galaxy Tab 3. This tactic may also be followed by several other US retailers, as they look to offload stock now that the Galaxy Tab 4 is on the horizon.

If you are looking for a cheap tablet, why not pick up the Sprint version? If you do, you’ll know be reassured that an official Kitkat update is on the way soon.


Unfortunately, we don’t have the exact date for you yet. Sprint has however let everyone know via press release that the Galaxy Tab 3 is included in their latest Kitkat update rollout.

Sprint are usually reliable on their promises so hopefully the update is a matter of weeks away rather than months. When it finally does arrive though it should be the perfect tonic for those tempted to get a Galaxy Tab 4 after seeing that their device can still run the latest version of Android.
