Spotify US release date and iPhone Facebook update

We have some good news for US fans waiting patiently for the release of streaming music service Spotify, as it looks like the service will be on its way to you soon – definitely before the end of the year.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, Spotify should finally be available in the U.S during the third quarter of this year – according to this article from Bloomberg.

It is thought that the holdup is still due to the fact that negotiations are still in progress between record labels and publishers.

On a side note, Spotify has just updated their iPhone application, which will fix up bugs, add Facebook integration and Last.FM scrobbling.

Head to Pocket-Lint for more details on the update.
