Spotify for iPhone Update: New and Improved Features Coming

If you have been a fan of the Spotify application for iPhone you may be glad to hear that an update will soon be coming, this update improves on the already impressive app.

New functionality includes ‘Last.fm scrobbling’, along with a new star button system which makes it easier to rate your tracks and albums etc.

If you have trouble streaming Spotify tracks on you low-speed connection you will be glad to hear that this new update will bring low-speed connection support, this is made possible as Spotify Mobile for iPhone will support 96kb/s audio streaming.

Fans of the PC Spotify application will know about Spotify links, soon this functionality will be coming to iPhone, which means you can log on to websites such as Facebook and click Spotify links, this will then link you directly to the track/album/playlist within Spotify.

We are not sure of when exactly this update will be launched, however it has apparently been submitted to the Apple approval team, as it launches we will try to keep you posted, for more details check out the link below.
