SpongeBob SquigglePants Game Coming to Nintendo 3DS

It wasn’t that long ago that THQ announced that the SpongeBob SquigglePants game would be coming to the uDraw GameTablet accessory for the Wii and now, the publisher has just revealed that the game is also coming to the much-anticipated Nintendo 3DS.

As Rashid Sayed over on the website recently noted, the SpongeBob SquigglePants game — which is due to be released for the 3DS sometime this May – enables SpongeBob SquarePants fans to interact with their favorite animated character in 3D.

The game comes with one hundred hilarious nanogames that challenge gamers to flip, tilt and drag their way across seven different worlds. SpongeBob SquigglePants also includes an exclusive 3D world, which features a unique SpongeBob SquarePants art style.

The whole SpongeBob SquigglePants gaming experience is hosted by a live-action character called Patchy the Pirate, who guides players through the game, makes surprise appearances and interacts with gamers as they tackle their way through that vast array of nanogames.

We may not have a solid release date for the Nintendo 3DS version yet, but we do know that the uDraw GameTablet version — which comes with a free draw component and gameplay that is exclusive to the uDraw accessory — is due to be released on April 12th.
