Sony’s PS3 Store Update Times – Now on par with Xbox 360

We have some fantastic news for PS3 owners in both the US and Europe now, as Sony has finally announced that they are changing the day when the PS3 store is updated each week in both regions.

As reported from VG247, you’ll be pleased to hear that Sony has pushed the US update to Tuesday, while Europeans will now get their weekly update on Wednesday, instead of Thursday afternoon.

It now means of course, that you no longer will have your Xbox 360 friends gloating about receiving their Marketplace content a day earlier, which has been the trend in the past.

The new timetable will start at the beginning of May, meaning that the last update for the old schedule will take place on Thursday April 29th.

Let us know your thoughts on this. You’re naturally delighted – right?
