Sony XBR-75X850C 75-inch 4K Smart TV review unanimity

So, you have decided to make the jump to a 4K TV, and so you now need to decide the brand, model and also size. These are all key questions that need to be answered, as they all have an overall effect on the price. However, if you feel that Sony is the brand, and 75 inches is the size for you, then you might want to consider the Sony XBR-75X850C4K Smart TV.

One of the reasons we highlighted this model is because there is a Sony XBR-75X850C 75-inch 4K Smart TV review unanimity, as most of them tend to agree that this is a very good model and ticks all the right boxes. Ok, so we know that its regular price of $4,000 might put some of you off, but we are sure if you look in the right places, there is a bargain to be had later this month.

This 75-inch TV is said to offer up to four times more clarity than you do from a standard 1080p television, and with built-in Android adds and increased dimension. You can also stream 4K content, although there is not enough choice at the moment. You also have a huge choice of apps to use on this TV, and can even steam PS3 games.

Sony XBR-75X850C TV specs

Sony has made the bezel very thin, which means the design is an attractive one. The stand is very understated, which we have come to expect from Sony. Most of the Sony XBR-75X850C reviews agree that watching movies is a wonderful experience on this model, as the blacks are deep and uniform, and there are no judders.

Watching TV in the dark with this model is just awesome with its dark shadow detail and black levels. The smooth upscaling offers realistic color, and the sound quality is fantastic, although you might have to make a few adjustments. There are also plenty of picture modes to find the right setting for whatever you are watching.

It’s not all good though, as the processor has been known to be glitchy when trying to use the functions fast, and the Menu UI is not as simple as the likes of what Samsung offers. The other issue, which we find very strange is no web browser.

You can read over several owner reviews on Amazon, and also RTINGS, where you will be able to build up a more complete picture.
