Sony PS3 Update v3.21: PSN tutorial without updating

For all those of you who have still not updated to the recent PS3 firmware v3.21 update, a tutorial as well as a video has been posted online, showing you how to log into Playstation Network without updating.

As reported from PS Insider, many gamers are still outraged at Sony’s decision to remove the option to install other operating systems on the PS3 – i.e Linux.

While Sony stated that the firmware update was optional – you won’t be able to log into PSN without updating – or so they thought.

One user has supplied the video which shows you the method to bypass this completely. Judging by the user comments, it looks like the guide works too.

If you are interested in this, you’ll find the video here, and the tutorial steps here. Let us know if it worked for you.

Useful article, I'd not heard this. Whatever the big companies do, some kid in their bedroom will always out-think them.
