Sony PlayStation Plus: What you get for $50

We are only days away before Sony launches its PlayStation Plus premium subscription package on PSN, but the strange thing is — we do not know that much about. So we thought we would see what you actually get for your $50 annual subscription.

So we know that the service will cost you $50 per year, but you could choose to pay $18 for a three-month subscription. Sean Hollister from Engadget also had the same thought and has found some interesting information for us on the official PlayStation.Blog.

We know that playing online through PSN, subscribing to PlayStation Plus gets you a number of free games each month, but you will have to keep paying that fee to get them — once you stop subscribing you will lose those games.

As a premium member you could get up to 50 percent of PS3 titles, and if you often download beta games then the chance to access them early would appeal to you. We hope that this was insightful; do you think that this service is worth the money?
