So far all carrier details regarding the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 have been regarding UK carriers, however we have recently heard that the Android-powered handset could perhaps become available from the U.S. carrier AT&T sometime this summer.
Currently rumors suggest that a late July, early August release is looking likely, if this turns out this to be true it would be AT&T’s first-ever Android-based Sony Ericsson handset, in fact AT&T’s SE offerings are quite lacking at the moment.
This handset is regarded by many as Sony Ericsson’s answer to the HTC HD2, the X10 features a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display which supports a resolution of 480 x 854, it also features a 1 GHz processor, 384MB RAM and an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and an LED flash.
To be honest a summer release of this handset on AT&T coul be a poor decision, especially as at this time competitive handsets such as the HTC EVO 4G, HTC Incredible and possibly the iPhone 4G / HD shuld be pretty popular recently released smartphones.
As we hear information which confirms/refutes these rumors we will keep you posted, for more details check out the link below.
