Never one for falling too far behind the competition, Sony has announced a new lineup to its Cyber-shot range. There are three new models, the T99, WX5 and TX9 and looking at the preview shows that they offer 3D technology.
The first is the Sony Cyber-shot T99 and packs a 14.1 megapixel lens, the WX5 and TX9 is a little less but still a respectably 12.2 megapixel. All new models will features the BIONZ processors, there is 32MB of internal memory, not that you can save much with that.
The T99 is waterproof; well more than that as you can take some amazing shoots while the camera is submerged in the water. This model is also capable of recording full 720p HD video. The TX9 is the better camera of the two and offers 3D images thanks to its Sweep Multi Angle technology.
If you are not bothered with underwater shots, then consider the 5x optical zoom WX5. All three cameras will be due for release in September, which you can get more information on over at Akihabara News.
