Sony a65 price and release date availability

Just this morning we offered details of an early preview of the Sony Alpha a77, now we have some interesting details concerning the a65, such as its price and release date availability. The Japanese consumer electronics maker seems to be on a roll when it comes to product releases, such as the camera mentioned above, the NEX-7 and three NEX E-mount lenses. You will be pleased to know that all of these will be released in October.

Sony has used their extensive knowledge to improve on its BIONZ technology by coming up with what they believe is the next-generation. This means that the processor will be able to handle a number of tasks at a much faster rate than ever before. This means that response times will be faster than ever and also perfect image quality. The icing on the cake is when it comes to shooting Full HD video, as there will hardly be any noise whatsoever.

While writing this I am starting to feel a little upset, as I have the a55, but should have held out a little while longer for the a65 instead. Anyway, this is all part of the consumer electronics game, no sooner have you purchased a product it soon becomes out-of-date. The a77 achieves 12 frames per second, while the a65 offers an extraordinary 10fps. The former has a 19-point autofocus system whereas the latter only has 15 — although still very impressive.

For a greater insight into the Sony Alpha a65 then please watch the video below. The new model comes in two configurations, without the 18-55mm lens for $900 or with for around $1000. As you may know these lenses are great for everyday use, but if you want something for close up or far away shots, then you will need to look at the range of other lenses that Sony has to offer.
