Sony 40-inch KDL40R380B LED HDTV review with 60Hz

Sony has some fantastic TVs on offer this month, as we have seen the electronics giant offer some direct savings on their own website, unattached to any retailer. One of these is the Sony KDL40R380B TV and for those that are interested in buying one, we have a quick heads-up with regards to a Sony 40-inch KDL40R380B Series LED HDTV review.

This TV is ideal as a alternative TV in the bedroom, but one that is still packed with great features and performance. For starters, the Sony KDL40R380B specs include a 40-inch Full HD resolution with Sony’s MotionFlow XR 120 technology to offer an enhanced picture quality during live sports and gaming sessions – it offers a 60Hz native refresh rate though in reality.

It also includes Sony’s Bravia Sync, allowing consumers to pair up and power up similar Sony devices with the touch of a single button.

Sony also offers Bass Reflex Speakers with this TV, combined with Doly Digital and 5.1 surround sound support. Like most other Sony models, a dedicated gaming mode is available for console owners and when it’s time to watch movies, you can switch to a special 24p True Cinema mode.

There’s 2 HDMI ports on this model, including MHL support for those that want to set this TV up with the Roku Streaming Stick and other similar media.

The good news is that there has been excellent Sony 40-inch KDL-40R380B reviews so far from consumers who have already bought one early.

We have picked out some great feedback for you from those who all say that the picture quality and the sound is incredible for the price. You can read through these reviews for yourself over at Best Buy here, Amazon here and also through Sony’s official product listing here.

We’ve located an official Sony KDL40R380B spec sheet here and the official Sony KDL40R380B manual for you to download as well.
