Sonos iPad Controller: App Released Today

A free Sonos Controller has been released for owners of the iPad. The app lets you control all the functions on a linked Sonos system.

Users of the app can search and select music, control the content and volume of zones. They can tune into Internet radio and also create playlists from either local or Internet sources. A new feature is the multi-pane view which lets users control the majority of a Sonos system on one screen.

There is a new Sonos System Software 3.3 update that comes with the controller, which now supports AAC radio stations. This now makes available over 100,000 radio shows and podcasts available to Sonos systems. Another new feature is users who live in Finland, France, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the UK can now play Spotify content on their systems. For more information click here.
