Social Fitness App: Fit Pulse for iPhone

A new fitness app has just been released that helps users with a customized workout, and has the option of interacting with other people via social networking sites. Fit Pulse 1.0 is available for owners of the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

Released by Online E-Ventures the app keeps track of a user’s nutrition intake, workout history, and weight gain or loss. A quiz will test a user’s knowledge of fitness and nutrition, and user’s can build their own workout from two hundred and twenty exercises.

A Dynamic Workout feature will create a workout plan which targets body areas and how much time a user has to spend on a workout session based on information the user inputs. An in-built social network allows users to compete or chat with others, and has Facebook and Twitter integration.

Fit Pulse 1.0 is on the App Store for only $1.99. Requires iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad with OS 3.0 or later.
