Smash Bros Mega Charizard X hype

At the start of April, we told you about the exciting confirmation of Mega Charizard X in Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS. Mega Charizard X is going to be the final smash move for Charizard in the game, and now we have a new picture to share and some additional details for you.

Smash Bros is going to be well worth the wait on Wii U and 3DS, with Nintendo teasing fans with gradual reveals that have only caused hype to go through the roof.

Pokemon is once again going to play a big part in the next Smash Bros game and it’s clear there is a big Pokemon X and Y influence in Super Smash Bros. One of the main highlights is the inclusion of Charizard as a playable character – the first time this has ever happened in the series, since previous appearances were via Poke balls only.

Charizard is coming though and he will mega evolve into Mega Charizard X for his Final Smash move. Take a look at the latest image above which has been shared by Mr Sakurai himself.

We can also tell you that Charizard’s moves in Smash Bros will be Flare Blitz as the side-special attack and also Rock Smash as the down special move.

Let us know if you will be using Charizard as your main character in the game. Are you a little bit disappointed that Mega Charizard Y in Smash Bros doesn’t seem likely at this point?
