Smash Bros 3DS demo release time on E-Shop

It’s going to be a very exciting period for Nintendo 3DS owners. Most of you will know that Super Smash Bros is on the way soon, but what you may not know is that Nintendo has just gone live with the Smash Bros 3DS demo release time in Japan.

It means that if you have access to the Japanese E-Shop, you can head there right away and download the 3DS Smash Bros demo which weighs in at 1016 blocks.

The main news though, is that Masahiro Sakurai, director of the game has given an update on Miiverse. He has said that the English version of the demo will be coming soon and to stay tuned for more news.

Now that the demo is obviously finished in Japanese, we would like to think that the English version is done too and it’s just a matter of pushing it out for public release on the E-Shop.

We can see that those with a Japanese 3DS have already obtained their Smash Bros 3DS demo QR code, but those in Europe and US are patiently waiting for an update.

As far as we’re aware, there will only be one game mode to play in the demo, that being Smash. However, there will be a healthy selection of fighters to choose from in the demo, including Mario, Link, Pikachu, Animal Crossing Villager and Mega Man.

There will be one arena available with Battlefield and you’ll be able to fight against computer opponents or your friends with local multiplayer – excellent.

Are you waiting for the Smash Bros 3DS demo release time to go live on the E-shop in the US or Europe? Let us know the minute you see the demo available.
