We’ve just stumbled upon Sleep Cycle alarm clock app for iPhone and Android and quite simply put – it could change your life completely if you are someone who struggles to wake up on time each morning.
Sleep Cycle Alarm works by monitoring your sleep patterns at night, cleverly using the accelerometer inside your phone to detect how often you move at night and more importantly – what sleep phase you are in.
It then analyses your sleep phase data, then wakes you up in the lightest way possible with subtle tones – all within a 30 minute window.
The end result is the user waking up in a more relaxed state, as opposed to your default iOS or Android alarm clock which will just interrupt you at a given time regardless of what sleep phase you are in.
