Skyrim Special Edition PS4 Vs PS3 gameplay shock

The Skyrim Special Edition release date on PS4 and Xbox One is fast approaching, as at last you will all be able to play the game by the end of the week with updated visuals.

Before that though, we have an excellent Skyrim Special Edition PS4 Vs PS3 gameplay comparison for you to check out, taking a look at some of the most iconic locations in the game and seeing visuals from old gen side by side with next-gen – well if you can still call PS4 ‘next-gen’.

The good news is that there’s a significant improvement in overall quality as you would expect given the fact that Bethesda are charging full price for the remaster.

Whiterun looks as beautiful as ever, while other areas such as Solitude as well have had a dramatic makeover with running results – see the example included above.

You can see the full comparison below in the clip courtesy of PlayStation Access. Skyrim Special Edition is out this Friday in the UK, so let us know if you are pleased with the differences and if you are more than happy to pay to play the game again – remember now with mod support on console!
