Skyrim Special Edition file size on PS4, Xbox One

We’ve already spoke about some of the confirmed Skyrim Special Edition mods on console, but now we can give you a heads-up for those that want to know what the file size is for Skyrim Special Edition on PS4 and Xbox One.

You’ll be pleased to know that Bethesda has already provided this information early, giving you over a week to get your hard drive in shape if you are currently running low on storage.

The screenshot above was taken from Bethesda’s website and it confirms that the Skyrim Special Edition install size on PS4 is 20GB in North America and 33GB in Europe.

For Xbox One users, the game will require 17GB in North America and 25GB in Europe. That’s a considerable increase for the PS4 version compared to Xbox, so it will be interesting to see if there’s a specific reason for that.

Let us know if you are excited about the game and if you have any issues with the file size on either console.
