When we started playing Skyrim Dawnguard it was easy to get lost in the story, and from the moment we entered Fort Dawnguard our focus stayed on exploring the story, until now that is. We wanted to hunt down some of the new weapons and armor the Skyrim DLC offers, which is after enjoying a few quests and objectives that included Dimhollow, the offer from Lord Harkon after finding Serana, Chasing Echoes, and entering the Soul Cairn.
Most gamers might want to complete Skyrim Dawnguard first but there are also some weapon/armor related things you can do along the way, and others that can be found from the moment you install the DLC after reaching a certain level. Killing a Legendary Dragon is one of the achievements some gamers want since installing Dawnguard, and this can unlock the Legend achievement (see more about this in the first video below this article).
Videos that highlight Dawnguard armor and weapons – The second video below shows you how to upgrade your crossbow, and after using this weapon for a while it might be something you’d want to try after accepting that quest from one of the Dawnguard members. The third video gives you some Smithing tips for the new weapons, and shows you how to boost them for increased damage. The Dragonbone weapons are pretty cool and demonstrated with Smithing in the third video, although you might want to stock up on a few Dragon Hearts before starting this process.
We included a fourth video that shows all the armor sets within Dawnguard, and if there is any missing then it might be because they haven’t been found yet (an Ancient Falmer Crown would be nice). These armor sets include those for heavy and hardened Falmer, the werewolf, heavy and light Dawnguard armor, ancient Falmer armor, and of course plenty of vampire armor including robes, Vampire Lord, and Royal vampire armor, If you’ve found any other new types of armor in Dawnguard then please share a comment.
You’ll also see a few other videos below this article, which showcase some common and rare weapons from Dawnguard. These include the Dawnguard Rune Hammer and Axe, Auriel’s Bow, Harkon’s Sword, Daedric War Axe of the Inferno, and the Zephyr bow.
What unique weapons and armor have you found in Skyrim Dawnguard so far? We have shown quite a few on this page, but this is miles away from what’s available so happy hunting gamers. You might also want to read about Skyrim DLC 2 in this article and how Morrowind and the Dwemer could be well worth exploring.
