Skyrim Dawnguard: 8-minute hands-on

We are now under 2 days away from the Skyrim Dawnguard release date for Xbox 360 players, and today we have an 8-minute hands-on video that gives you a taste of the quest line within the first Skyrim DLC. If you don’t want to see any spoilers then it’s best you stop reading now, although if you want a taste of how Skyrim Dawnguard will start then you should watch the video below this article.

It has been confirmed that the add-on will take up to 20 hours to complete, although some of us will take much longer than that by doing worthless things to enjoy the journey more, which you got to love how Skyrim immerses you in this way. We have already spent well over 500 hours in the main game, and look forward to spending many more hours playing the first Skyrim DLC.

The video starts with you being told the Dawnguard are looking for anyone willing to fight against the growing vampire menace, which then gives you a few options to find out more. The video also gives you a quick look at the map inside the Dawnguard DLC and highlights some key locations, which we could see that the player has to then speak with the leader of the Dawnguard in a different location to Fort Dawnguard.

Have you decided to battle the Dawnguard or vampires yet? Watch the video below if you want a taste of how the first 8-minures start within the Skyrim DLC and then share a comment. We reported yesterday about a teaser video for the 2-hour live event planned during the launch of this first expansion, which you can see here.
