Skyrim 1.1 Patch update for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC – Full notes on 11.11.11

We have some important news for those of you who are planning to pick up Skyrim on 11.11.11, as Bethesda has just confirmed that there will be a day one patch going live for all platforms of the game. We have details on what is inside the patch before you start your glorious adventure.

Before you all jump to conclusions as to what the patch contains, we can tell you that aren’t any few features or anything major added to Skyrim. Instead Bethesda has confirmed that patch 1.1 will address some minor stability issues with the game and also fix up a few initial problems regarding quest progression, as detailed by ShopTo.

Obviously there are no specifics there, but Nick Breckon said that full patch notes will be going live on the day that Skyrim launches, so users can find out exactly what has been fixed then. Also there’s no word on what size the download will come in at – 1.1GB would be pretty slick wouldn’t it though?

Just to remind you again, this patch will go live on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions and if you have the game already, you can expect a patch update notification to happen on 11.11.11.

Hopefully this is the last we hear the words ‘problems regarding quest progression’ as if that turns out to be a major problem with game at some stage in the game, it could turn out to be a very frustrating issue for gamers, especially those playing on Xbox 360 or PS3, as PC owners would probably be able to fix the problem instantly with a simple console command.

That’s it then, look forward to a patch hitting your copy of Skyrim soon. On a side note, don’t forget to check out our debate on whether killing children in Skyrim should be allowed or not. Obviously it’s a controversial subject, but your opinions are always welcome whether you agree or disagree on this occasion.
