Yesterday Skype announced their new service that allows users to make calls from their mobile to any device with great rates without the need of an internet connection. Skype To Go will add even more options to being able to keep in touch abroad something that they’re already regarded for.
We previously brought you news that Skype was expanding its hotspots to over 500,000 then they sealed a deal with AT&T to improve video calls, they seem to be doing everything they can to improve their services.
Now with Skype To Go, Skype’s low rate calls can be made from landline or mobile phones wherever you are, simply by dialing a unique that you have set up to represent to overseas number that you wish to call. It is free to set up these unique numbers with a limit of nine but Skype To Go must be paid for through subscription or via Skype Credit.
As reported by Electronista, the service’s unique numbers can be saved to user favorites on their Skype account or to their handset only having to pay the price of 3.9 cents for a connection fee. More details about this new service can be found at the official website Skype.com.
