SkyGrid news app for iOS updated: version 2.0 now available

If you own an iOS device and you currently use the SkyGrid news application, then you might like to know that the app has recently been updated to version 2.0. The latest version is said to make it even easier for you to keep up to date with all your interests.

As Dusan over on the website recently reported, SkyGrid version 2.0 — which is now available to download from the Apple App Store — comes with a dedicated ‘following’ feature, which not only enables users to follow a specific subject, but also follow any website.

The app’s ‘following’ tab will list all the topics and websites that you are interested in, whether it is a company, a product or even a sports team. The SkyGrid app will constantly search more than one million sources, including blogs, social websites and mainstream news to provide users with the highest quality results.

It’s not just the ‘following’ tab that’s been added to the updated SkyGrid application either, as version 2.0 also features fast article page loading, suggested sites and subjects, the ability to search and navigate from a single site and rich photographs throughout streams.

As noted over on the website, the SkyGrid news app is compatible with the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, but does require Apple iOS 3.1 or above.
