Simple Home Design Comes to the iPad: LivingRoom 1.1

An app that gives amateur and professional designers all the tools to plan and design rooms has been released for the iPad. LivingRoom 1.1 allows users to create floor plans using a vast library of design and structural objects.

Developed by Helix Coding the app allows users to lay out furniture, choose and apply materials, and keep notes for each project. Finished projects can easily be shared with just one simple press. LivingRoom is a simple to use and ready to start straight away.

The app has more than 100 built-in textures, and any image can be used as a custom texture so real-world photo’s of flooring, textiles, and other materials can be used in a project and applied directly to the design plan. The PDF and notes of the room can be emailed direct from within the app. Objects can be easily moved, resized and rotated.

LivingRoom 1.1 is available on the App Store for only $4.99. Requires iPad with OS 3.2 or later.
