When Fiat brought out its modern interpretation of its 500 model we were taken back by its beautiful retro styling. However, over the years it has started to show signs of its age, but only a little, and so a few updates are needed.
There will be some significant Fiat 500 facelift updates, which are set to be teased in September during the Frankfurt Motor Show. Some new spy shots have come to light offering us some insight into these changes, and while they are heavily disguised, we can still make out some of the updates made.
We had assumed that the Fiat 500 was set for a minor update, but these images from Autoblog show otherwise. From what we can see the changes are significant, hence why the Italian carmaker has started to use even more camouflage.
However, that is not to say we cannot point out some of the more important updates to its exterior design. With the headlights having much of the concealment, it is our best guess that these will be completely redesigned for the 205 Fiat 500. The rear side windows have also been covered up, so it will be interesting to see what Fiat has done with those.
The taillights have also been concealed, as has a huge portion of the interior. So what differences do you think there will be with the upcoming refresh compared to the current model?
